I programed all the Jville channels and talk groups using win96 program. Now i hear everything going on, my question is now can i just close the bank and only hear the talk groups programed?
I'm sorry if my questions appear to be on the stupid side but I'm confused on where to find the ID Scan and the ID search. Is that box between the Tag and Type shown as Closed?

Actually, I'm the stupid one. What brand scanner are you using? I asumed Uniden, but rereading, it looks like you might be using a RS. I have no idea how to work the RS scanners, never even touched one.
I have a BC246T and have programmed contral freq's and ID's listed for JFRD in the RR database. My scanner stops on these ID's but all I hear is noise/tone, etc., something besides voice. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advanced.
99% of the Jackson Trunked System is digital. The 246T CAN NOT do digital that's why you're hearing those noises. You need a 396T or a Pro-96 to m onitor the Jacksonville system!
Greetings from a former resident of Saint simons island Georgia .I used to be able to hear Jacksonville Florida's communications during times of tropospheric ducting ..
I wish I had a Pro96 back then. In fact,I wish I had a Pro96 and BC 396T. The 396T can do military air out of the box .This is something that the Pro96 cannot. I am just glad that agencies in Northwest Washington don't have the paranoia that Jacksonville and Florida in general has over scanner radio hobbyist .
