Over a couple of weeks of monitoring, I have discovered that there are a LOT of TG's in use by the JW Marriott Complex. These are 1000 series, and 2000 series. From some of the convo's it looks like they are split up by shift. Day Shift being the 1000 series, and Night Shift using the 2000 series. Its going to take a while to whittle down all of the uses. I have found that while the 1000 series TG used by the Loss Prevention Detectives might see little use, the 2000 series TG in use by the Property Security Officers gets used every night. (Usually dealing with homeless folks, though recently there have been a few "incidents" involving guests.)

Keep in mind that there are actually four hotels in that complex owned and, possibly, operated by the same company.

The only talk groups I've noticed on a daily basis are 1100 and 2800. Pre-COVID I used to hear more. I don't know if that's a decrease in events now or they just use some kind of in-house radio system these days.

I agree about the multiple complexes. 1100 seems to be an engineering channel for all the properties. I have not determined exactly what TG 2800 is used for but I log people talking on it all day long.

Twice I have heard engineering call LP on 1000 but LP has never responded

Years ago I noted...
2000 Spanish language (housekeeping?)
1400 valet?
1200 AYS?

I've also recently added their simplex only freqs when I'm downtown to see if they see any action but so far logged none.

All the hotels have been a lot busier over the last couple of years now that all the Covid crap is done, and they are extremely busy this week, might be a big event going on? LOL

Yes, I know this fact very well. Not only have I been doing this since I was ten years old, I was for MANY years an Database Admin for this site, including for the State of Indiana. Not being disrespectful, just letting you know that this cowboy has been riding the broncs at a couple of rodeos. :)
