According to the FCC database, there are several frequencies licensed to Kaiser. The following are associated with the hospital on Interstate:

462.0125
464.0625

And these are listed, but are possibly input frequencies.

467.0125
469.0625

FCC lists that there is 1 base at 100 watts output, and 45 mobile units at 4 watts each.
I don't know if these are Security, and I have not monitored any of these personally.

Good luck.

I don't know if the company that I work does security there. I can tell you that doing as Otto suggested, looking up the frequencies on the FCC website is usually the best case. Usually it is contract security at these places, and they commonly use the client's radios.

I know that for the site that I work downtown nobody knew what the frequencies were, until I brought my BCD396T down and put it into close-call mode to get the frequencies. Again I can't speak for this site, but sometimes guards aren't the sharpest tools in the shed...

Ahem to that. One of my other coworkers apparently was told that the system MY company uses was "unmonitorable" when in reality we are on an LTR system like EVERYONE else is.

Kaiser as I recall has in-house security...I know they have someone with Executive Manager title at Interstate.

Heh that's interesting. I do know that the Intel plant out in Beaverton, OR runs a Motorola trunked system as identified by the database. I can most certainly tell you that my company does security for them.

To be honest, I haven't worked for a company that uses an LTR style system. Would it be a safe wager to say that LTR is primarily used for businesses...?

Ha, I know your employer then :p

Yes, LTR is mostly used by Businesses; there is a couple of oddball uses by the Feds though.

And yeah, Intel and Mall Security is the exception around here; though Intel has two seperate systems.
