Keansburg

I'm looking to confirm if in fact 158.760 is used by Keansburg as there Dpw repeater. There was a post back on 03-19-07 regarding this topic that it was there Fire/Ems frequency. Any info would be helpful.

It's their Fire/EMS. It's also pretty low power. And their dispatch protocol of saying "Keansburg police to all members of the Fire Department" x3 each dispatch is also annoying.

Going back a few years, the DPW & FD/EMS shared the 158.76 but with different PLs. I never knew the DPW PL. And we all know the FD/EMS PL. (There is no repeater on this frequency)
Also, their in-town water plant and trucks were using 154.490 years ago. I heard that their water company has since disbanded. That freq might also be worth checking out for activity.

Keansburg also uses 158.9850 which is fire ops . I hear them on this freq. but its a low power channel and I live in town. They have no repeaters.

I have only heard fire & ems on this frequency as well.
