Kenwood: Kenwood D710G Speaker Recomendation

Have a Kenwood D710G as a base station at home. Brick is mounted under my desk but the speaker location isn't with it pointing down at the carpet. Would like to put a speaker on my desk and looking for a recommendation / suggestion.

I used an old Motorola mobile external speaker when I had mine installed in my truck. Nice big speaker with good audio fidelity. You can often pick them up cheap at ham flea markets, or free if you know the right people. You'll need to install your own 1/8" plug on the end.

Other good one is the Kenwood KES-5 speaker.

I use a KES-5 on mine. Can hear it across the house.
