I'm the feed provider for Kosciusko county 700MHz public safety, and it appears that almost all radio traffic (including dispatch) is now encrypted.

Radio Service/Maintenance tests are being performed on both 700MHz and 800MHz SAFE-T systems, so not sure if the encryption is permanent, or only while technicians are "testing" the systems.

If this is permanent, sad to see... :(

Clarification: Law Enforcement (Police) dispatch radio traffic is encrypted on this P2 system.

Thank you for the update. I've appreciated you providing the feed as I've been an on/off listener for some time. My family lives in the Warsaw area while I work overseas. It's nice to listen to when storms roll through or just to keep up with what's happening in the county. Unfortunate if they do roll to full encryption (dispatch or otherwise) but sign of the times I suppose. I'll keep listening while I can!

Looks like K-county is wanting to add a 4th tower to their simulcast system.
