I had heard that KDOT was going to implement bridges to the P-25 system on each of their towers to VHF-Low, VHF-High and UHF radios but hadn't seen anything on this forum about it. I found the following license WQFH509 just issued to the State of Kansas in July for the Sedan KSIS site.

The license includes the following frequencies:

39.58
39.70
154.4525
155.7525
453.2125 / 458.2125
453.8625 / 458.8625

Found a similar license granted for the Coffey Tower of WQEX781 issued in May 2006 for the following frequencies:

39.58
39.70
154.4525
155.7525
453.2125 / 458.2125
453.7125 / 458.7125 (All the same as the Sedan tower with exception of this pair)

I haven't looked further but bet that similar licenses have been issued for each KSIS site. Has anyone noticed testing or traffic on these freqs?

For what it is worth you might try looking at the "National Interoperability" channels:

VCALL 155.7525
VTAC1 151.1375
VTAC2 154.4525
VTAC3 158.7375
VTAC4 159.4725

base mobile
UCALL 453.2125 458.2125
UTAC1 453.4625 458.4625
UTAC2 453.7125 458.7125
UTAC3 453.8625 458.8625

8CALL 866.0125 821.0125
8TAC1 866.5125 821.5125
8TAC2 867.0125 822.0125
8TAC3 867.5125 822.5125
8TAC4 868.0125 823.0125

In most cases you should find the CTCSS frequency of 156.7 used on
these channels.

Each KSIS tower site has interoperability voters tied to the following transmitters:

39.58
39.70
155.7525 (VHF Calling)
One of the VHF Tac Channels (seem to be set up so they don't interfere with one another)
453.2125 / 458.2125 (UHF Calling)
One of the UHF Tac Repeaters

I am not close enough to monitor KSIS- Has anyone monitored any activity or testing on these? I am also curious to know if they have toned the VHF-Low channels or if they are using CSQ. I assume the VHF-High and UHF channels are using the PL that jim202 listed.

I did some research and sent the whole interop tac channel plan to the site administrator and hope they will add it to the KSIS page so we will have which tac channels are used on each tower site.
