I had heard that KDOT was going to implement bridges to the P-25 system on each of their towers to VHF-Low, VHF-High and UHF radios but hadn't seen anything on this forum about it. I found the following license WQFH509 just issued to the State of Kansas in July for the Sedan KSIS site.
The license includes the following frequencies:
39.58
39.70
154.4525
155.7525
453.2125 / 458.2125
453.8625 / 458.8625
Found a similar license granted for the Coffey Tower of WQEX781 issued in May 2006 for the following frequencies:
39.58
39.70
154.4525
155.7525
453.2125 / 458.2125
453.7125 / 458.7125 (All the same as the Sedan tower with exception of this pair)
I haven't looked further but bet that similar licenses have been issued for each KSIS site. Has anyone noticed testing or traffic on these freqs?
