LA approach?

Anyone in the LA approach, when I hear a plane say, approach the IRONMAN.
What is the Ironman?
Trying to learn the lingo.

What I believe you headed was "descend via IRNMN" example "SOCAL Approach, Delta twelve-thirty-four, one-two-thousand, descend via IRNMN2"

What that all means is "I am Delta 1234, at 12,000', I am descending to comply with the charted speed and altitude restrictions on the IRNMN 2 arrival"
