LA County tones

Ok ive been listening to LA County FD when i get a chance to come out here, now i just turned on the scanner and they are dispatching with the OLD QC1 tones, aka emergency, am i hearing things?

Air ops, BC's and the camp crews still have the tones. Well all the stations do too but it is a back up system for them.

There are still 1 or 2 "old school" dispatchers working inside the LACoFD Command and Control Division who will use them every once in awhile for nostalgic purposes. They are audio only and don't do anything anymore. Digital dispatching sets off the station alerting system and the MDCs. 1+1 tones are now used for backup purposes.

You would think for as big and popular as LA County (Fire), there would be a feed on here.
