Life force is actually Light force
A Light force is an engine and truck that go every where together. They are never broken up.
800 ambulances are Basic life support for minor injuries and medical calls
Non 800 numbers are for Advanced life support ambulances for the more serious medical need calls.

I was looking for this yesterday and couldn't find it.
Thank you for posting the link
Also: 900 series are BLS ambulances as well, for fire station numbers greater than 100 (for example, the BLS ambulance at station 103 would be called Rescue 903)
