I've heard that dispatch for Lambton County Fire is being transferred from Wallaceburg to Sarnia. Anyone else heard?

Half the county has already changed over a few months ago. Rest is going this Friday.
They have added a OPS 3/4 now also (DMR)

Wallaceburg CACC has wanted to get away from dispatching the dept for years.. and now Sarnia Fire is taking it over.

You might have noticed the change in departments calling dispatch, too. They use to say their dept. name and vehicle but now its broken up into the county. So, St. Clair County has six stations or so.
Example, Port Lambton use to just say "Port Lambton Pumper 54 responding". Now, it's "St. Clair Station 5 responding". Or just "Station 5 Pumper 54 responding".

More or less nothing is really changing other then departments have to say Sarnia Dispatch rather than Wallaceburg. No idea what the OPS3/4 will be used for yet.

Do you mean St. Clair Township?
Yes.

Lambton has 11 counties or municipalities
Brooke-Alvinston
Dawn-Euphemia
Enniskillen
Lambton Shores
Oil Springs
Petrolia
Plympton-Wyoming
Point Edward
Sarnia
St.Clair
Warwick-Watford
(Walpole and Kettle Point Native reserves)

All but the City of Sarnia are on the Lambton County Fire system and are broken down to station numbers in each area now.

I heard a dispatch today about 4:30 pm. One responder called Sarnia dispatch, the second one called Wallaceburg dispatch. I'm guessing it's just a mistake by second responder.

Although Lambton Co has eleven municipalities, I believe there are more fire departments than eleven. Warwick has Watford and Warwick stations (2 for one township. At one time there was a Alvinston and Inwood departments. It had since reduced to Alvinston (Brooke Twsp)

Yeah, Dawn-Euphemia Township I think is sorta under Alvinstons area. Inwood was closed up few years ago. You'll still hear some dept's calling Wallaceburg until Friday/Monday.
Friday is the change over day over to Sarnia. Bearcom is still going around to the departments updating the radios with OPS 3/4.
