854.3375 LCN4
855.3375 LCN?
857.5375 LCN6
858.2875 LCN7

That is the correct order. Or what my lcn finder was showing

The Butel software shows:

854.3375 LCN1
855.3375 LCN3
856.7625 LCN8(this is the digital repeater telemetry freq)
857.5375 LCN5
858.2875 LCN7

It does not show a LCN 6

That is because you imported that data from the database and the database is currently wrong.

Remove 856.7625, set Color Code to 1 for the four remaining frequencies, and set the LCNs according to what mmilbourne posted. Mmilbourne hadn't confirmed the LCN for 855.3375 yet but suspects it might be 5 based upon the order of the others. So if I were you i'd probably just set the LCN for 855.3375 to 5 and then set the other LCNs per what MMilbourne told you, and give it a try.

Good deal. Make note of the talkgroups you hear. If you are able to confirm the type of activity occurring on specific talkgroups, please submit those to the DB via the Submit button at the top of the system page in the DB:

That top group seems to be gas operations? If you can confirm any others post them in this thread and then submit them I’ve been trying for a while but only have heard three or four of them!!

2 more TGID's
80077
80029

I did not catch the audio as I have it hooked to my outside 800Mhz Yagi pointing to Lansing from Williamston and I am in another room at my pc(Den).

I will try to catch the activity to determine the talk groups.

So just a note, mmilbourne, I do not have them listed as you note, I put them in as Butel has them, deleting the 856.7625 freq. with the LCN I noted earlier and put the cc as 1 for all 4 freqs.

OK, so you put the CC as one for all four freqs. Good deal. But did you change the LCNs so that the LCNs match the frequencies that you still have in Butel? The frequencies themselves do not have to be in the order that RR or MMilbourne showed them, when they are in Butel, but you do have to have the correct LCN paired with the correct frequency.

Yes, I have the LCN's matching the freqs shown in Butel.

Good evening all.

I have submitted all of the updated LCN data that I had for the DMR system and requested that the 856.7625 freq be removed form this system....

Thank You

No, do not remove the old system, it is used for the city functions, such as zoo, city workrs, snow plows and stuff like that, the new bwl system is exclusive to the bwl. However check the DB for update to the system.

Yes, keep it for now, however Lansing city services is transitioning to the digital(MotoTRBO) system as they have already purchased new radios.
The PP Zoo is on Ingham's UHF EDACS.
