Ah, good to hear! Always better to train for it than have the actual thing happen! We are doing our Mayday Training here in a month!

Been had like that before, Copied radio traffic from a unit I worked with and trained he was hailing on a different channel than the others. I called his cell he answered and we both were LOFAO.......All was good. We had a meat market across the street beside the house and the Butcher had half a car brought in and put up against the building (like it had ran into the store) we were checkin it out from the watch room. After the wrecker left, one of the guys took off running for the truck room yelling that a car just ran into Merals. We all ran the chief came running out of his office, as we circled out the front bay door to watch. The chief was running across the street shouting orders into his portable. We where loosing it on the front ramp  when he realized he had been had. .......................H:lol:ser

TAC3 is used for training purposes, I haven't heard it used operationally since they first put the system into place when it was with MPSCS. It was used for a mass casualty event - since then only training with all events either on TAC1 (north) or TAC2 (south.)

Thank God,

It was a weak floor that ended my fire days.
