Thank you for posting that clip. No doubt, all the officer turned their radios on at the graveside before he was laid to rest? I can only guess that was it. I was not at the funeral but at 9:00AM (an hour before the service) I was in the parking lot at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral and saw all his fellow officers (including SO) filling up the lot.

Thank you all for your respect and appreciation for law enforcement workers.

At the firefighter funerals I have been to, it is planned and someone has a pager or portable they turn on.

Those last calls always get to me. The dispatcher did a great job. I remember when Mike King and Rick Smith were buried here in ABQ, Trish Hoffman did the last call, and she could hardly get the words out. It was very touching, and I don't think there was a single person at that funeral that didn't lose it.
