I once decoded tones for the entire county and had a list but i have no idea where it is at this point, that was 10+ years ago and now the wiki has it, I've kept it pretty up to date
Great thanks, after some trial and error I think I got quik call all setup. Just gotta wait for tones to drop.
Just an example, this will alert for nepaug fire, new hartford ambulance, and nhva 2nd crew tone. It is unfortunate they dont give more options for the format, you're pretty limited to how many tones you can have on one system, whereas with a minitor 6 you can have 10 2-tone alerts and 5 group calls per channel, and with a unication you can do even more than that. That said, there is no way to make your radio have one paging channel for every department in town.
My APX has 34 QCII channels for 45 departments so while it cant be all done on 1 channel you can do as many as you want.
yeah definitely, just have to make a system for each one. It's too bad you cant make it do as many tones as a pager can.
