Good evening, I monitor the LCRA Boerne site. There is a new site that has shown up as a neighbor. It does not have a name assigned to it. When I search the database for the CC it comes back as Hays county and in the GATTRS system. I have attached the site file from PRO96COM, anyone else see this that monitor LCRA?

773.29375 was the original CC for Comfort 129-29 when it first came online 5 years or so ago. It originally came online as a state license site, but changed frequencies when they licensed it individually. Could be a new site up that way, or into Kerr County. Will keep an eye out for it.

I bet if you pull your neighboring sites back up that it is no longer active. I have a VM7 on the system and it no longer registers on the site youre talking about

Not sure if related and I haven't gotten down there to snag any data yet, but I managed to catch something today of interest. Seems Brady, TX/McCulloch county is testing the system and has a couple of towers up. TGID 44 came across one of my sites today and I was able to hear a discussion about this as well as the local incident that happened in the town today. Radio tech running around checking where stuff works and such mostly. This would seem to indicate new sites exist at least.

Nice catch. You are definitely closer than me to Brady. I will be traveling back and forth to Odessa more frequently in the very near future and could cut through there and check it out if you can’t get down there.

It's not a new site. They are currently trying to "sell" their service to McCulloch County and Brady. They have a patch to the VHF Channels into the OpenSky system (There is an active site near Brady Lake), which is in turn patched to the P25 system. To my knowledge, they provided loaner radios to "Demo" the system.

LCRA's 900 MHz licenses in this area are here

Since the 700 MHz licenses probably aren't in the FCC database as exact licenses (they tend to be block licenses) we're probably not going to find them in the FCC database. However, this would give infrastructure site locations to be on the lookout for.

It's back as 136.36, 773.29375. Neighbor to Luckenbach at this time. Probably not online but just might be as it is saying FAILED, Info Outdated, ISOLATED.

Still showing Failed, but neighbors up with Comfort, Luckenbach, Fredericksburg and Doss. I caught a very brief signal on the high hill on US 87 NW of Fredericksburg on 773.29375 but not good enough to decode. It does not show as a neighbor to Bergheim, Fowler Hill or Johnson City. I suspect it may be Kerrville but I’ll know for sure on Friday when I come back through.

I'm in SW austin and on a pretty good hill, from my balcony i've counted 19 towers in the horizon. i'm pretty much line of sight with anything south including the san marcos site. I can pick up blanco vhf on a rubber duck. are there any frequencies you'd like me to verify and maybe grab the nac or sys id on? i'd be happy to help.

How did you figure out it was Kerrville?? Pro96com on my end does not have a site name. The CC is the one you posted.

Does this need to be submitted to the RR DB?? Kerrville is not listed as a site in Kerr County LCRA systems.

New neighbor to Creedmore, 160-60. 770.71875 is the current CC. Didn’t pick it up between Bastrop and San Marcos so not sure where it is.
