FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Larimer County Sheriff’s Office deputies attempted to contact the driver of a vehicle stopped in the roadway at Laporte Street and Taft Hill Road in Fort Collins at approximately 12:10 A.M. on December 5, 2006. The suspect led deputies on a 25 minute pursuit with speeds topping 103 miles per hour through Fort Collins, south to Trilby Road and back north. The suspect failed to negotiate a tight icy turn on County Road 56 and County Road 11 and his vehicle stopped on its side in a large frozen canal. The suspect fled on foot but was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit.
Alan Mill, 122783, was transported to Poudre Valley Hospital, treated and released to deputies. Mill is being held at the Larimer County Detention Center on the following charges:
Possession of a Schedule II Drug – class 6 felony
Reckless Driving – class 2 traffic
Driving Under Restraint – class 2 traffic
Possession of a Weapon by a Previous Offender – class 4 felony
Identity Theft – class 4 felony
Criminal Mischief – class 4 felony
Vehicular Eluding – class 5 felony
