Huh?!?! I wonder when they all changed, probably should submit them to the database! Are they dispatched on that frequency or the KC Wireless LTR system that isn't monitorable??

Harrisonville (Eagle 2) and Blue Springs (Eagle 3) are both dispatched (or toned-out) on the KC Wireless Passport system. Trenton (Eagle 1) and Clinton (Eagle 5) have separate base frequencies, and you should be able to monitor dispatch and flight following activities just fine if you're close to those repeaters. If Life Flight is flying around KC, they will use either 462.975 (was PL 118.8 but recently changed to 156.7) or the Johnson County 800 system for flight following (headings, fuel, ETA's, etc).

Life Flight shares 462.975 with Johnson County, KS. JOCO sometimes uses it for assigning med channels with a PL tone of 192.8.

Hope this helps...

That helps, thanks, too bad. . . you can't monitor dispatch. . . that's a bummer. Maybe when I know they are coming I'll put close call on and hear them conventionally if that works.

Lifeflight uses site 10 on the KC wireless system. Your scanner will not trunktrack the system, but you should be able to plug the frequencies in and monitor them conventionally.

That's what I was hoping for, I think I'll try that, as well as when I know they are getting close I'll prob just put my close call on to hear which frequency they are using. . .
