Limiting receive time

Been looking through the easy to read manual and don't see this. I want to start logging my area. But want the scan to continue after say 10 seconds regardless if they are still transmitting. That way the 200 won't get hung up on a station. My R30 has this function but don't see where on the 200 menu am able to do this. Maybe i'm just blind and not seeing it. thanks.

I believe it's the negative scan delay feature.

Yes - as stated above, edit the favorite and set your delay time on each dept you want this to happen on to -10 seconds, (or whatever value needed - there is -10 and -5 available.

Won't be using favorites. Will be scanning between a set of frequencies. Can try a test setup to see if it gives me the delay time option. Thanks for the help.

You can set a custom range & delay via the Edit Profile/Custom Search Tab.
A negative 5/10 delay setting will resume scanning/searching regardless of the active traffic.

You can't edit custom searches via Proscan, only favorites lists

Thanks. Will use sentinal to program custom searches, then hook it up to proscan.
