Are you talking about actual emergency management or emergency medical/ambulance? The term EMS can be used for either. I assume you mean medical .
LC does not have a countywide ambulance

From the database..I have not heard any changes..what was your source for these changing? Maybe a new intersystem channel? I would think that since these are separate unique entities that they would not all go to one frequency, especially without any testing which I have not heard. but maybe you have info I do not.

Nothing on the 158.8275 ???

You may want to search some of the local Radio Shop Trunks, if they migrated there, it could take sometime to find them

or see if the RCC re-allocated one of their Many channels to being EMS Dispatch

Not sure why the unnecessary dislike on my post…since I was just trying to help. 1st one since I have been a member, but your choice.

yes and no…

Also as of yesterday the current above freqs seemed to still be active, although frankly ems is not a priority in my scanning, and I pretty much ignore it most of the time, that is why I asked the poster to provide a source. I live in the area and, of course would love to know. Usually, when there is a change in radio systems there is an article in the local newspapers such as when sheriff went dmr and then returned to analog.

The advise on searching the trunks is good. However, as I stated, it would be difficult but not impossible to get all these local ambulance services to coordinate on one frequency especially if it required new equipment for dmr etc. There is however a local hospital freq that they all use. As you state, using some of the unused FD channels would make more sense. Boothbay regional ambulance is struggling as it is to get money. Having said that, as we know anything is possible so I await further info. Stranger things have happened!
I acknowledge that I may missed this change and may be 100% wrong since, as I said, my scanning is centered around other services not ems.

Because I am curious, I devoted one radio to just Boothbay region ambulance 158.8275 and it has been quiet today which seems unusual. I checked FCC records as best as I could and saw no other repeater freqs assigned to them. If they joined another group I can not tell. Hopefully someone can shed further light on this.

What an ODD CTCSS tone to be using. It's on the chart but still, rarely used.

The source for this was the Lincoln County News .I found out from a local source that the frequency is 152.645
License searches on those frequencies (Part 22) are hard/tough as they are licensed by Market (Like Commercial TV/Radio stations)
and 98% of the time do not/are not requires to list the actual tower sites - most are owned by Radio Shops (Rental Sites) and/or Governmental agencies who ran out of Part 90 allocations

152.6300 the main frequency which is a former (Part 22 Paging channel) the owner can use any freq within the Block aka +/-
152.6300, 152.6375, 152.6450

Note however MSCommNet is a licensee for this at some Maine Sites
