I cant find anyplace on RR.com that explains to a layman (someone who knows little about scanners and computers) what a Scanner Feed is. Can anyone out there write one and get it posted within the live audio wiki?

Why not do it yourself, instead of asking others to do it? The Wiki is open to any registered member to edit.

As Chauffeur6 (rather tersely ) pointed out, anyone can edit the wiki. See the Wiki's getting started guide for more info.

What information do you feel is lacking from these articles?

I see "listening to" as a category and "providing" as a category -- thats all I see (nothing general.)

There needs to be something like "what is a feed" so when someone like your wife or mother wants to know what the heck we are talking about we have a place to refer them and something they can understand.

I will write something myself as soon as I have time. It needs to be simple and something that can be understood by a grandma!!!

OK. Either create the article in the Wiki yourself or send it to me and I'll stuff it into the Wiki.
