SDS100/SDS200: Location control off, won't scan all.

I usually use my scanner in the car with a GPS. I am taking a train trip and want to listen to one of my favorite lists. I turned the Location control off but not all systems are scanning even with them turned on. Only when I update my location by putting in a zip does all me if the systems, ones close the zip , turn on. How can I listen to all with out a zip?

As mentioned above, the location control has to be turned off on each favorite list to monitor.
Because of this, I set up two favorite list in the scanner, one might say "LAPD" the second list will say "GPS LAPD"
I use the startup keys to load what I want to listen to. Startup 1 loads the non GPS lists and Startup 0 loads only the GPS lists.
Other startup numbers are for more specific listening groups, railroad, air, malls, etc.

Make sure you have D/L and Monitor checked in the profiles
