I live in western Queens so I may be too far, does anybody know their frequencies
and where their antenna is located? I can listen to MTA Bus and NYCT Bus with no
problems. What about Long Island? thanks

frequencies and see how it turns out.I have never programmed an EDACS system before

Edit: I am stuck already, sorry. It gives me 2 options. wide/narrow scat what does that mean?

I have to disagree.

You'll mostly hear them on at night when the system is quiet. When the weather gets cold and things start to ice up - now that's when the MTA groups really start to pop up. Disabled buses, Icing conditions, etc are usually being announced.

I don't make a habit of listening to the MTA, but everyone once and a while, you have to turn off the ID Scan and to an ID Search :)
