Looking for confirmation NYC 453.600 PL 114.8

I am hearing all the way from ocean county nj a repeater i have not heard
before on 453.600 with a PL of 127.3 but not sure where it is coming from.

I see in the NYC DB that the NYC Sanitation Dept has a repeater on this
freq but it is listed with a tone of 114.8

Can anyone in or near NYC please confirm if the NYC Sanitation Dept
indeed uses this freq and it has a tone of 114.8 or if you can also hear
the repeater i am hearing with a tx ctcss tone of 127.3

I have been trying to identify what i am hearing but they don't say much
that helps me in trying to figure out who this is.

Sanitation isn't on this freq anymore, they moved to the UHF DoITT TRS last year.

ok - it seems i am hearing radio traffic from NYC.

I have heard reference to "UN Plaza" and a post at "42nd & 1st".

With the UN in town, they might have dusted off some old radios and started using them. NYC DOITT is now the license holder, so any agency in the city could be on it.
