Let me add some another tip for programming long lists of frequencies. If you run across a website that has a list of frequencies and what those are used or the channel names if you will then copy those columns and paste them into an excel spreadsheet. Then you can copy the column with the frequencies from excel and paste it into the frequencies column in the programming software. Then copy the column with the channel names and paste that information into the text tag column in the programming software. But when copying from excel say for example you are copying 50 frequencies then only highlight those 50 cells in the column and not the whole column. If you highlight the whole column it may not paste correctly into the programming software. I have used this method with various manufacturers software.
In the Uniden Sentinel software you can also set various setting like delay time, volume offset, etc for one channel then copy and paste those settings all the way down the list for all channels. I use the the keyboard ctrl-c and ctrl-v shortcuts.
