Get everything set up and Ledcor switched to digital so again any help would be appreciated

Are you using a digital scanner?

No sir I am not, bought a Radio Shack scanner off of Ebay
RADIO SHACK PRO-164 1000 CHANNEL HANDHELD SCANNER and the day after I get up here they change radios so any help on scanners or proper radios will help thanks

That's a great reference provided. Keep in mind the newer scanners will do P25 digital but not MotorTurbo, Provoice and Mike radios. I'm not sure what the Pro 164 does but I guess not digital. Some of the listed LEDCOR frequencies are simplex point to point radios. Not sure if they all would have gone digital. Does LEDCOR also do the highway maintenance?

Not sure about highway I need the frequencies for the mine we work at. They switched over to Motorola XPR 4550 mounted radios. Of course it would be the day we got back to work. They are still using a point to point system just now digital. Will now try to get a digital scanner, I dont need to talk just to listen in, we are the people in charge of Ledcors contract, but they refuse to give us thier radios.

Ledcor Grande Prairie

Seeing that Ledcor has taken over Hwy maintenance around Grande Prairie I've looked at the trucks and don't see much for antennas...... the trucks am/fm whip, cb duals and that's all. are they running 2-way radios? and if so does anyone know what their frequencies are or what area they're in....

From TAFL try Province wide license 49.460 or 47.740. VHF Lo whips would look just like CB.

Thanks H... Ive been monitoring both of those freqs all day and haven't heard one thing on either of them. I do see there are a few more that I could monitor but they look like that are assigned to gnd to crane ops around Edmonton

Try 49.440 and 49.480. It's a strange Province wide license for anything above 50 degrees. The two are apparently for the Edmonton region a long way from you. I can't see them running a roadway service without base stations but I don't see any listed. Maybe they are running CB radios for talking to each other and something like the Mike system for communication back to the office.
