is there any way to speed up the com port speed of the LTR Data Slicer when using one with LTR Trunker ? ive tried setting the com port speed higher in windows but it doesnt apply when in dos , ive also tryed using "TRACKSLICERBAUD=19200" in the trackenv.txt file but it didnt work either , the slicer just stays at 9600 which isnt quite fast enough for me. LTR Trunker has a lag in it when picking up Talkgroups keyed up, it cant read from the data scanner fast enough thus causing some cut out loss on the Voice scanner. any thoughts on this ?

Changing the baud rate has no effect.

Quick review: the baud rate setting controls the bit rate for data sent over the TxD and RxD lines on the serial port (okay, you knew that).

A slicer does not use these pins. It toggles one of the modem status pins - DCD, CTS, or DSR. LTRtrunk (and any other program that uses a slicer for input) measures the time between changes to determine sequences of 1's and 0's.

If you connect a radio to the same serial port (or a difference port), you can set the speed for program control of that radio for following voice calls. This has no effect on decoding performance.
