LTR System Help

Hi All,

This is the system I am trying to program for.

Now 163.48500 has alot of chatter on it and I know it's a Cab company. When It gets chatter I press resume and it locks into 162.37500 and shows 0-1-010

Only problem is when it locks on 162.37500 I no longer hear any audio.


I am not 100% sure how to setup LTR so if anyone has a howto for setting it up, finding the LCN's please let me know.


I also have a list of both the TX and RX LCN's but I don't know the order or which to put in TX or RX.

I don't own a '796D but the "0-1-010" is a valid LTR ID. System 0, repeater 1, ID 10.

You must be monitoring the repeater when the user is trunked off to another repeater,
because the station is probably sending subaudible data that tells the radios on that home channel
where to go. the rest of the data stream is not shown. I would say this is normal behavior.

We ended up figuring the system out with the tricks from this website and have submitted new results already to the database.
