• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

Did you look in the Database, you have been a member for over 5 years I would guess (since you haven't been posting) that you know your way around the DB. If you mean Milwaukee County, WI; start here.

VOIP is Voice Over IP and is not relative the ability to scan the system or not as it is part of the infrastructure.

Moved to the WI forum. Coachlight, please read forum descriptions before posting. This is a local question and should be posted in a local forum. Thanks.

how do i load 2 systems in different citys

any one know

coachlight
It is impossible to listen to the City of Milwaukee on any scanner, they use a type of system that no scanner can decode. You can still listen to virtually everything besides the city of Milwaukee on your pro 106

Closing Thread

Unbelievable.

MADScan: The question you are answering has nothing to do with the post you quoted. The question you answered was asked and answered over 2 years ago.

coachlight: You may be the OP of this thread, but you can plainly see that dragging up an ancient thread to ask something that has nothing to do with the original question is not the right answer. If you have not yet gotten the answer to your most recent question, please re-ask it in a proper venue and as a thread of its own.
