Madera/Mariposa/Merced Counties Fire Missing audio files during time of incident

You may have heard a family of 3 and their dog were found deceased in Mariposa County on a hiking trail on Aug. 17th. It just so happens that on that day, and that day only, the morning hours of the feed are not available in the archive. This of course would have been the hours during which the bodies were discovered. I'd like to know why the logs are missing, so frustrating when this happens time and time again. What is the point of hiding the audio?

I have seen something like this before. I was wondering the same as you as well. Could it be that coincidently, or even purposely the feed was taken offline at the time of the incident?

I looked at both feeds and they are both ran by the same person. It appears that the feed also doesn't have any recordings from the day before, August 16th after 11:44 AM, and only came back the next day at 12:07-08 PM. Looking at that suggests that the feed was simply offline during that time.

Feed providers, to my knowledge, don't have the power to remove specific recordings. I also don't believe that Broadcastify would erase any of them unless if it was some special circumstance, or legal reasons? I have listened to dozens of high profile incidents on Broadcastify, most were there, and not removed. After all Broadcastify provides the recording feature for this purpose. There had been times where recordings were missing, and after looking a bit as to why, it also appeared that the feed could have just been offline.

Too bad there is not a way to remove logs or shut off streams when an incident is occurring.
