I've been programming Mag Ones for a couple of years with my trusty Windows 10 laptop. It came time to upgrade my laptop, so I bought another one with Windows 11 Pro. I installed all of my various CPS, including Astro, APXCPS, Professional Series, Commercial Series, and both MotoTrbo R16 and 2.0. All of these work fine with my new Windows 11 laptop. Then came time for the Mag One CPS. First, I had to install it (v2.05) AS ADMINISTRATOR, due to several files failing to install in non-administrator mode. After installation, I attempted to read one of my BPR40's using the same cable (FTDI chipset USB). I get communication error. I reseated the USB cable, shutdown and relaunched the CPS and tried again. Same error. Device Manager shows the USB serial port on COM2, and shows that it has the most recent drivers. Tried a different BPR40 radio. Same error. I then installed version 1.02 of the Mag One CPS. Same issue, can't read radio. I've even tried all of the possible compatibility modes, including Windows 8, Windows 7 and Windows XP. No difference. Has anyone else successfully read/written from a Mag One using Windows 11 Pro?
