My radio has the three positions.
To the right, notchy.
Centre not quite so notchy.
To the left, free running.
However, on the left free running setting.
The needle/pointer moves faster across the dial, while still on the same TS setting.
I couldn't find a reference to this in the manual.
Is this the same on all radios.
I did have a problem with the friction adjuster on this radio when first got it.
