Do I understand correctly:

1. Maitland Police are dispatched on the Apopka (35A) (p25p2) radio system

and

2. Maitland Fire is dispatch by Orange County on the 46C (p25p1) system?

...... this has to be an interop nightmare....

anyone have more insight into this one?

TIA

1) Dispatched BY Apopka on 35A (they have a local networked site)

2) Yes, Maitland & Winter Garden/ Ocoee fire too, are dispatched by OCFR

Why a nightmare? EZ to join up on a mutual aid TG when needed.

Unless their radios are programmed on both 46C and 35A, the police and fire can't talk to each other on the same system?

seems dumb to me... but then again, I don't live their dream.

Not a nightmare, we had excellent relations with Station 45 (Maitland) basically they operate like any other OCFR unit on the Tacs, the more challenging station is 65 which is dispatched by both OCFR and SCFR
