Major Police Activity at the University of Wisconsin

Listening to the University of Wisconsin's UWPD 14 channel, there appears to ebe ither a bomb threat or a huge training activity going on. The police have set up a perimeter at the northern end of campus and the SWAT team is en route. They think the suspect may have fled by boat. The mobile command center has been dispatched.

Update:

It was a big multi-agency training exercise that simulated a bombing attempt and hostage situation. They even hired actors to play hostages and injury victims.

It was interesting to listen to and it covered just about all of the morning and afternoon hours.
