Does anyone have one of these Malahit SDR receivers and use as a general receiver? Are they worth it?

They are not scanners; rather these are stand alone SDR receivers.
The general consensus seems to be that while they show promise, there's still a long way to go. There are 2 main distributors; Russian and Chinese.

They can be handy in the sense that it has wideband coverage. It is basically a portable SDR receiver.

We have come a long way for sure! I'm still pretty dumb and get frustrated having to lookup everything online to use a radio!
