Man barricaded in car; Fair Oaks

SPD is rolling its Bearcat on an SSD call in Fair Oaks (Prospect Dr between Maple Ln and Marshall Ave). Evacs in progress. Ops on SSD Ch 1. Man is crying in car and is believed to have a gun that is missing from his room. Spike strips laid down on Prospect to prevent him from getting too far.

Bearcat in position and moving forward to go "grill to grill" with suspect vehicle. Man still crying and now exiting vehicle.

Suspect now hadcuffed and in custody. Loaded handgun found in his possesion.
