Yup here from Rosebrook, Manitoba. I've been working on identifying talkgroups on the Manitoba P25 system. I have been having some success, if you search for the Manitoba P25 system on radioreference.com for Pembina Valley. Come on Manitobans, get out your digital scanners,SDR(Software Defined Radio)dongles, spreadsheets and let's get this black box system sudoku puzzle figured out! =)
Not from Manitoba but I was sentenced to a few months working out of Winnipeg last year and this year. Picked a hotel room beside the Rivers Sub and enjoyed watching the action.
Since almost everything is encrypted, listening to the trains was a good way to pass the time.
