What is the current status of any MARS usage above 30 MHz? All I can find are old MT Posts >10 years old. I know you Martians don't like posting frequencies per your SOP but I was just curious if Army or Air Force MARS (I know Navy/Marine Corps MARS was deactivated several years back) utilizes this spectrum if so, what for. Any first hand info would be appreciated instead of the old posts/lists.

If I have missed any existing threads regarding this, please point me in the right direction.

Varies by Region
Here in New England there is a very robust NET [linked Repeaters] as well as a few stand alone sites, some active others idle.

The VHF linked Net even has some 220 [non amateur] for linking sites

Should have been 148.0500. Sorry!

While I'm at it, here's HF from the same source (NTIA), again either nationwide or region 6 (in kHz):
4766.5
5761.5
7546.5
7916.5
19613.5

I don't know if it matters, but the VHF stuff is all assigned to Army, except 143.9500, which is Air Force. The HF stuff is all Air Force, except 5761.5, which is Army.

Yes, also found much VHF MARS listed in that document as well, mostly "STATEWIDE" allocations with no specific location

The one near me has always been
143.9750 R / 148.0500 in [since the 80/90's] just not as active anymore

Most of the activity is the Nets on the old Navy-Marine MARS Net [Linked to NH, CT, MA and maybe now RI]
That is the info I have. Until I hear it myself I can't confirm it.

It was so much less complicated when almost every Army MARS repeater was on 143.99/148.01.
