Mass. State Police Frequencies Question, Please

Hello,

I have a good sw receiver, but not a functional scanner.
So, I guess I cannot receive P25, etc. Live outside of Boston.

Are there any MSP frequencies that a conventional sw receiver will receive ?

If so, what are their Modes ? (AM, USB, etc. ?)

Outside of low band VHF analog, which is used rarely for car to car chat, all of MSP is trunked. You need a trunked scanner.
It's all in the Database

Yes, I have it still.
Will have to get it going again.

For the past year or two, have been concentrating on regular sw (<30 MHz) listening.
Time to fire the scanner up again.
