MATHISTON, Miss. — Webster County 911 Center just completed a major radio upgrade, joining many other counties in Mississippi.

That is great to see... When I lived in Starkville, we had to listen to Mathison tones and traffic because they used the same freq as our fire pagers. Mississippi may be poor state, but is going to have one of the best radio systems around.

Not to resurrect an old thread: But for reference, That frequency was and is assigned to Mathiston, not Oktibbeha county. Oktibbeha had it on loan, not the other way around.
