Getting the Mauldin FD on the 800 system closes the last gap in 800 fire coverage of Interstate 85 across Greenville County. The 800 fire system and the coordination between departments countywide is a significant accomplishment. Coupled with the quick response vehicles to help cover for EMS during the pandemic, first response has been substantially improved.
