Somebody in the Cleveland area had a Mavis request on Mutual Aid 154.280 this morning at about 0610. Does anyone know what Mavis is or stands for? Thanks

Well that's a new one. The only MAVIS I am familiar with right off is the Microsoft Audio Video Indexing Service (speech recognition technology). I don't know how this would relate to the fire service though. Or maybe "Mavis" is their cook and they were ready for breakfast.

The Mabas yesterday morning was in Mayfield Heights. They had an apartment fire which brought in a number of surrounding communities.
