Not hearing any Lynhurst PD yet.

And to think that after more than three years of 13539 listed as "Hillcrest Area Police 1/Dispatch" (Ohio MARCS-IP) like the white elephant it resembles and finally Mayfield Heights PD, with the strong likelihood of Lyndhurst PD following suit, appear to be going their own separate ways on new dispatch TG's all together. The only question remaining is will Lyndhurst actually go it alone or will they combine with Mayfield Heights the same way that both Oakwood Village/Walton Hills PD and Richmond Heights/South Euclid PD have over on GCRCN?

Oakwood PD and FD are both dispatched by Bedford HTS and their PD and FD tgs. Been that way since Jan/Feb 2023.

Thanks for the clarification. It does appear to be a bit confusing (at least to me) when you look at the GCRCN directory and it lists Oakwood Village PD/Walton Hills PD as a single entity as if one or the other is dispatching for both cities.

At 1:30PM Heard announcement on Mayfield Village/ Highland Hts channel that Lyndhurst would be transitioning to system. Not sure of TG yet or if there joining Mayfield Hts or Highland Hts/ Mayfield Village TG??

I was really hoping that with the transition to MARCS-IP that somehow these agencies would have their own TGs so we can tell who's who, without relying on RIDs.

Looks like Lynhurst PD (4300) dispatch will be on TG 13634 along with Highland Hts/ Mayfield Village PD.

I was really hoping that with the transition to MARCS-IP that somehow these agencies would have their own TGs so we can tell who's who, without relying on RIDs.

If they're going to a unified dispatch center that's unlikely; having to monitor too many talkgroups is very hard on the dispatcher and plays hell with rapid interoperability.
