SCANNING THE AIRWAVES SINCE 1987
I'm wondering if anyone in the south suburbs might have any up-to-date information as to what frequencies / system McNamara now uses?
I used to hear them on the ESP Wireless UHF (Chicago Sears #1) trunk system, using talkgroups 0-05-202 and 0-05-204, but lately I haven't heard them. I have even parked at one of the locations where they "post up" while using close call and I haven't gotten a hit.
I guess I'm just trying to determine if they may have switched systems or maybe gone to a computerized dispatch. I don't really think that last one is a possibility because I got a look insode one of their cabs recently and didn't see any kind of data terminal.
Anyway, if anyone can help me out with this, I'd greatly appreciate any info that can be passed my way.
Thanks in advance.
