Our database shows the known PLs for the MD Nat Guard repeater net, but there is also a reference to cycling of PLs for all freqs. Has anyone noted any other PLs in use, specifically for the first several freqs that are part of the statewide repeater net? I have not, as yet, captured any PLs other that 127.3 on these particular channels.

When I posted that info along time ago, I stated that they recycled input frequencies and output frequencies but the PL's remained the same, I dont know where the other info came from. The input frequencies that are listed now are somewhat correct and somewhat wrong. I am not going to post those input frequencies at this time as my contact at MEMA states the MDNG and MEMA Frequencies will most likely change as they are relicensing thru NTIA.

(EDIT If my contact tells me they are keeping the same frequencies I will post the input information I have)

A So-So System

Listening to these frequencies is a bit boring. Every Thursday "Military 100" calls all the State Police Barracks and asks for a radio check. Usually only about 2/3 ever answer. Then they call 5th Regiment Armory, they never answer, and finally they call the Governor's House and they NEVER answer. Seems weird to me that the whole "GuardNet" was set up for VIP's to get in contact with the Governor and vice versa during an Emergency, if other lines of communication were not available, but he Governor's House never answers. Sometimes you can here Guard Units checking in, setting up ops, and closing down ops on the system ie. Romeo 9er 9er.
It is an OK system but I think if anything ever happened that SATCOM would be used more than a conventional repeater system.
FYI: For anyone that may not want to submit information on the Database you can check that box at the bottom if you wish to remain anonymous

Thanks, Nathan.

Whistler- Indeed, not much to hear routinely. One would presume that any major callout for a weather-related event, etc would make these great freqs to keep handy.
