I was wondering why there was an update made to the RR database for MDFD. I was cross referencing the database freq's to the ones that I am hearing and they are way off.

Is this an early update for some thing happening in the future?

Yes, I apologize. They do go by MDFR (Miami Dade Fire Rescue). It seems that some of the frequencies were updated today. I will check now if they reflect what I am listening to. Pretty sure they are because I have always gone to this site for th best frequency database on th internet.

From my personal analysis here in Broward County, it seems as though all repeaters are being converted from PL to DPL tones and that every frequency assignment is being re-shuffled. The South is being dispatched on 453.100, but if there is a FG and ADMIN frequency in use, they must be utilizing lower power and/or have a different antenna pattern set up for those as they are harder to monitor from Fort Lauderdale...

Also I notice that 453.425 is having interference issues with telemetry (Saint Lucie? Lee County?)...

Can anyone confirm updated Dade County Fire Rescue frequencies? Is the RR database accurate or should I stick with Brian Cathcart's 2006 scanner guide (big discrepancies) Any confirmed info would be much appreciated. TIA.

Is Dade County Fire Rescue at Miami Airport on the UHF system or the Trunked system? I am getting conflicting reports. Thanks
