I'd like to get some clarification on 460.200 in Medina County. It is currently listed as Hinckley PD. I brief forum search indicates this was the old Sheriff North channel. There are several licenses for it for Medina County and Medina Township. The Hinckley licenses have all recently expired.

There's also a submission suggesting this is no longer a PD channel, and is only used for activation of the weather alert system (aka tornado siren).

What is 460.200 being used for?

Thanks for helping!

Hinckley PD is definitely being dispatched now on the Medina P25 system on the same talkgroup as the SO. They’re the 500-units. They use 154.995 (listed as their service department) as a chit-chat channel.

It was always MCSO Ch. 1 or the “North channel”. Hinckley had for years (before and maybe after being dispatched by Brunswick) been dispatched by the SO or themselves on 460.200 as was Brunswick Hills and maybe even Medina Township. There was a time during and (again maybe) after the Brunswick days that Hinckley PD and FD had their own individual 453 frequencies, which escape me now.

I think it’s safe to say Hinckley PD isn’t on there now.
