On my Radio Shack PRO-36, I've locked out so many unwanted channels that my Memory is Full.
How do I delete the unwanted channels from my memory so that I can lock out other unwanted
channels?

Can't you just enter the new frequency you want to lock out in the same channel you want to delete? I don't understand why you would want to enter frequencies just so you can lock them out, wouldn't not entering them be the same thing?

Oop's I goofed; I listed my scanner as a PRO-36 when I should have listed it as a PRO-96 digital scanner. Maybe now someone can tell me how to delete trunk channels from my full memory?

Do you want to delete Talk Groups or Systems? In any case, your instruction manual should give you the needed steps.

Ok, lets start over. What is it exactly that you want to listen to with the radio?

Full Memory

When my scanner locked into an "ID" number that I didn't want to listen to, I pushed the lockout button to get rid of it. I've done this to a number of "ID" numbers to the point where I get the message "Memory Full". There are still unwanted communications I want to lock out but can't because of the full memory. How do I get ride of the "ID's" I've locked in to the memory so out so that I can lock out other "ID's"?

1 - PGM
2 - Orange "T" key
3 - Use the up arrow key till a talk group is displayed you want to delete.
4 - press the zero "0" key
5 - Press the ENT key
6 - go back to step 3 and repeat till finished then press scan.

Make sure the bank is in the "CLOSED" mode by pressing and releasing the black "F" key then the period "." key till the scanner displays "BANK CLOSED" on the bottom line.
