Has Shelby County/Memphis started migrating to a P25 system?

I was in Memphis the last few days and getting traffic that is P25.

For example, 859.4375 (which shows active on the SmartNet system), is BEE00.9FD-1.10 NAC9F1

So, P25 system ID 9FD>

I have a ton of other voice channels logged with NAC 1E5, which I think was Phase 1 activity.
Multiple talkgroups logged with activity.

Law Enforcement, Fire Dispatch (automated voice) and a few TGs that are unencrypted Patient Reports to local hospitals.

I'm mostly surprised this isn't already in the database, or maybe I'm just missing it.

And there is a Broadcastify Feed with over 100 listeners.... are they listening to the P25 or the SmartNet system?

Did you check talkgroups with the ones ID'd in the system?

What I'm getting seems more like P25 system (not Smartnet with P25 voice channels)

TGs 25, 63, 67, 33, 39, 77, 121, 125

Low TG numbers, not like the ones listed.

Received a P25 Phase 2 control channels system 3D5 on 857.4375.

DSDplus wouldn't decode if for some reason, "says Data not Available"

Yes, Memphis and Shelby County are migrating to a new P25 TRS. I remember reading something around a year ago that they were going P25 Phase II. This must be the start of the new system that you found.

It might be good to monitor the new and old system to cross reference any talkgroups as it sounds like they are on both that fire dispatch is most definitely MFD

Ok I think they are doing it like Shreveport take the old talkgroup and divide by 16
So MFD GRD 30 (Automated Dispatch) as an example old TGID is 2224 new is 139
2224/16=139 I think this is how they are doing it

Also, the Memphis Shelby County Airport Authority is planning to upgrade to P25 Phase II as well. It might be interesting to listen to that system for any changes.

So you are getting P25 Phase 2 control channel? (I just searched the 800 band for activity, that's where I got all my info)

It was site 10, assuming there are other sites? But maybe not yet.

yeah I'm running unitrunker and I am getting good CC data, i think its still really early in the game, we will be running loads out of here till november so ill be back often and the latest DSD works too
