Has the city of Mesa moved to the Topaz System yet? I only seem to find them on the South Mountain IR control channels.

The two systems used to be linked. That way a user from Phoenix could roam onto the Mesa system or Mesa user could roam onto the Phoenix system. Mesa cut the link a few months ago and changed all the keys and system ID's and what not, then put up a site on White tanks and since they own the Thompson peak IR that now broadcasts TOPAZ stuff.

Thanks Astrak - I must be out of range (on the hand held). I've got the CC loaded up, but no activity comes across.

I have them on the Phoenix East valley law enforcement feed. I'm in Mesa so I'm definitely not out of range.

I shouldn't be (I sure wasn't before the switch to digital) - I'm in Chandler just off Rural and Chandler Blvd. It's always been difficult, but latey it's been deaf.

Yeah that's just the order I pulled them out of my current scanner programming, it doesn't really matter what order it is. I guess it could just be that you're too far away.

I used to live at like Power and McKellips and couldn't receive Mesa at all. I could hear the control channel, but the scanner wouldn't decode at all. So it could be that you have a source of a lot of interference or something also.
